Photographing on Lopud is unlike any other destination. The light wraps gently around people, stone reflects golden tones, and the sea adds movement to every frame. We don’t just shoot weddings here – we breathe with the moment.
Whether it’s a barefoot ceremony on the beach, a first look under olive trees, or an elegant dinner in a private villa, our goal is to capture it with honesty and style.
Moments That Defined This Lopud Wedding
Lu reached out via email after stumbling upon our photographs. Her words were kind, heartfelt, and curious — the kind of message that makes you pause and smile. She mentioned how she felt drawn not just to the images, but to the way we speak about photography, and about people. That first message set the tone: this wasn’t just a booking. It was the beginning of a connection.
Though we hadn’t officially met, Lu said it felt like she already knew us. There was warmth and trust from the very start — something rare and deeply appreciated. She booked the wedding a full year in advance, yet we didn’t dive into the details until just a few days before the big day. And somehow, that made the whole experience even more relaxed and organic.
We arrived on Lopud early in the morning, as the island slowly woke up. The quiet energy of the place was the perfect match for Lu’s calm confidence and soft-spoken joy. Her getting ready moments were full of light and laughter — from the gentle touch of her makeup artist, to her hugging her parents and whispering silly things with her maid of honor. There were no nerves, just warmth. A kind of sunlit stillness.
We took time to photograph Lu on her own — barefoot on the terrace, surrounded by greenery, then joined by her closest friends. Each frame felt cinematic, yet entirely natural. She wasn’t posing — she was just… being.
Pe, on the other hand, chose to keep a little mystery. We met him only minutes before the ceremony, as he stood facing the sea, waiting. His calm was different — more introspective, a man of few words but a lot of presence. That moment, just before he turned to see Lu walking towards him, was electric.
The ceremony was intimate, sincere, and full of honest smiles. About 50 guests — just the right number to feel surrounded by love but never overwhelmed. It all took place on the terrace of Lafodia Resort, kissed by golden afternoon light and framed by endless sea views.
The celebration flowed effortlessly — from clinking glasses and spontaneous toasts, to a barefoot dance under the first stars. One guest gave an impromptu speech that made everyone laugh and tear up at the same time (we won’t spoil it, but it involved a story about a ferry and forgotten shoes).
This wasn’t a day filled with perfection. It was a day filled with presence. And that’s what made it unforgettable.
