It’s so great to find that one special person you want to annoy for the rest of your life.
“This is our wedding story…
Our relationship started when we least expected.
We’ve been told.
I’ve been told that Prakash liked me. I didn’t know it wasn’t true then. But, that’s how everything started – I observed him and his actions through the lenses of knowing that he liked me. We knew each other for some time before but it never occurred to any one of us that we might like each other – at least, not in a romantic way. That’s how the friendship began – observing the person, spending time with mutual friends, joining the gym, occasional coffees, food,….everything in order to get to know the person better. And he was very nice – extremely nice. Treating me even better than a lady can wish. And very soon I knew – he is the one – the only one I could “tick all the YES boxes” and even adding more elements. I have never met that kind of extraordinary nice person.
And then….Prakash was told. He was told by our friend that I’m “focused” on him. And then he started to observe me, having long conversations and walks in beautiful Royal Gardens in outskirts of London. Soon after he realised than I was different, and he would like to date me.
In late April 2011, we both decided to visit Croatia. As soon as we landed in Pula, Prakash fell in love – with Croatia, of course. And, by the end of the day, he knew he was in love with me. It was enough time for him to pour out his heart, tell everything he had in mind and leave me to think about starting a relationship with him. We identified all the possible obstacles and problems – background, race, culture, and upbringing.
However, it was meant to be. We made a decision to start a relationship against all odds.
Then, all the odds disappeared as we were following our principles and commitment. Year and a half later – we started planning our beautiful wedding.
And then – he proposed. I agreed to that wonderful suggestion and the journey has now begun.”
